Hopi Baskets

Types of Hopi basketry: fine coiled and wicker bowls for storage, gathering, sifting and parching.  Bowls and plaques for decorative use.  Usual Hopi basket materials include rabbit brush, sumac, willow, yucca and galleta grass.

The ancestral homelands of the Hopi people are the high mesas of north-central Arizona.
